All About Me Collage

Task: Find 6-10 pictures on the Internet of thing that represents you- favorite things, favorite activities, hobbies, etc.  Use a presentation slide in Google Docs to create and all-about-me collage.

 

STUDENT INSTRUCTIONS

 

1.  Log on to Google Docs:

2.  Using presentation create a collage of things, pictures, and words that represent you.

Include pictures of your favorite foods, hobbies, activities, books, singers, songs, etc.

3. The first slide needs to have the title (All About Me) and your name.

4. To get a new slide: Push the tab that says Slide, New Slide, and then choose the type of slide. (Two Columns will work well)

4. You may put all your pictures on one slide or multiple ones for each category.

3.  Share it with your teacher (smith.class@pottsvilleschools.org)  making sure to title it All About Me.

 

HOW TO Save Pictures:       WATCH VIDEO: How_to_Copy_picture_for_Google_Docs.mp4

  1. Open your browser (Internet Explorer)
  2. Search to find and appropriate image. (You may use a web site from the web resources)
  3. Position your cursor directly over the image.
  4. Click the right mouse button.  A menu should appear.
  5. Choose Download Image to Disk, Save Picture As, Save Image As or something similar.
  6. Take note of where the image is being saved so you can find it later.

  1. Click the Insert 
  2. Image  
  3. Browse (find your image from here)  Click on the image. Click Open and slect OK. 
  4. Find and select the image you downloaded earlier.
